Guidance on Drink

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) forbade drinking from a broken place in a cup and from blowing into a drink. When a man asked, ‘What about pieces of straw floating on the surface?’ he answered, ‘You should remove them.’” [Abu Dawud]

When we teach our children about the world it is not just the big dangers we warn them about but we caution them even about the small things that can harm them.

Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) who has made the expanses of Paradise for me and immortal life in it, did not leave me without guidance regarding the small matters of this life either.

The beauty of His love is that He then rewards me for taking care of myself and following His instructions in matters big and small!
