Blessed and Pure Greeting to Show Your Love

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “A man must greet his wife and children on entering his house.” [Tirmidhi]

Never enter or leave your house without a proper salutation. Greeting others is a way of showing them that they are important to you. Say “As-Salamu-Alaikum” (Peace be upon you) when you enter or are about to depart. Replace “Hi” and “Bye” with these magical words that are full of blessings. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) says, “But if you enter houses, salute each other – A greeting of blessing and purity as from Allah.” [Quran 24:61]

Remember also that a smile works wonders. Welcome and see off your spouse and children with a big and genuine smile.
