Blessings of Earth Restored

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Then the earth will be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing. On that day, a group of people will be able to eat from a single pomegranate and seek shelter under its skin (i.e. the fruit will be so big). A milch camel will give so much milk that a whole party will be able to drink from it; a cow will give so much milk that a whole tribe will be able to drink from it; and a milch-sheep will give so much milk that a whole family will be able to drink from it.” [Muslim: Kitab al-Fitan wa Ashrat al-Sa’ah]

This hadith is a continuation of the one in which Eesa (alaihis salam) and the Muslims with him pray to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) to cleanse the earth of the bodies of the Yajuj and Majuj.

This period of abundance and plenty, with the earth offering its best produce and domestic animals giving amazing amounts of milk, will occur after the birds remove the stinking bodies of the Yajuj and Majuj.
