Burping

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Withhold your burps from us, for those who are most satisfied in this world will be hungry for the longest time on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sunan at-Tirmidhi]

This hadith informs us that burping results mostly from overeating. Those who are content with the life of this world, and who enjoy a great deal of luxury, will have a hard time on the Day of Resurrection.
