Clothing a Muslim

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whosoever gives clothes to a Muslim to cover his body, Allah shall clothe that man on the Day of Judgement in the green dress of Jannah.” [Abu Dawud]

Give clothes to the poor as a way of expressing gratitude to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) for having conferred on you the bounty of dress.

Clothe Muslims and hope to be clothed by Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) on the Day of Judgement, when whoever is not clothed by Him will be naked.
