Half Body Paralysed

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If a man has two wives, but does not treat them with equality and even-handed justice, he shall be resurrected on the Day of Judgement in such a condition that half of his body is paralysed.” [Tirmidhi]

If you possess more than one wife, treat them all impartially, fairly, and equitably, in the time and material resources you allocate to each of them. Keep your behaviour the same with all of them. As for the fact that a man may be especially attracted towards one wife or cherish deeper feelings of love for her, Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) will award no punishment to a man for that. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) used to take great care in dispensing equal treatment to his wives.
