Indecent Speech

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The worst man in the eyes of Allah on the Day of Judgement will be the one whom the people avoided on account of his indecent and foul speech.” [Bukhari]

Restrain your tongue even if friends, relatives, or strangers, behave in a manner that is offensive to your temper or taste. Do not utter harsh or offensive words in retaliation. Instead, let the matter pass with tact and gentle conduct.
